Welcome
My path to becoming a Licensed Psychoanalyst has been anything but traditional. Before entering the field of psychotherapy, I spent nearly a decade working as a jury consultant in high-pressure litigation, partnering with trial attorneys on complex civil and criminal cases across the country. The work was intellectually demanding and fast-paced, requiring a deep understanding of human behavior, decision-making, and interpersonal dynamics.
While I found this work fascinating, I became increasingly drawn to understanding not just how people behave, but why. That curiosity ultimately led me to pursue advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and dedicate my career to helping people better understand themselves.
Today, I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, workplace stress, and longstanding emotional patterns that leave them feeling stuck. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals who excel in their careers while privately struggling with perfectionism, burnout, self-doubt, or the pressure of always needing to hold everything together. Others simply find themselves at a point in life where old ways of coping are no longer working, and they are looking for a deeper understanding of themselves.
My approach is rooted in contemporary psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Together, we will explore not only the challenges bringing you to therapy today, but also the deeper patterns, relationships, and life experiences that continue to shape your emotional world. I believe lasting change comes from understanding these patterns with curiosity and compassion—not judgment.
