General Questions
What is therapy with you like?
Therapy is not simply a place to process your week—it's a place to better understand yourself. Together, we'll explore the patterns, beliefs, and emotional experiences that shape your life, while thoughtfully challenging the narratives that may be limiting your growth. My role is to ask difficult questions with compassion, offer new perspectives, and help you develop the insight and confidence to create meaningful, lasting change.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are 45 minutes for individual sessions and 60 minutes for couples. We’ll decide together on a rhythm that supports you—weekly or twice a week at first, with room to adjust over time.
What are your fees?
My fee ranges from $120–$200 per session, depending on the type of service and frequency. We can talk about what feels sustainable for you and explore options within that range.
Do you take insurance?
I am out of network and do not bill insurance directly. Many clients choose to pay out of pocket. If your plan offers out‑of‑network benefits, I can provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement.
How do I get started?
You can reach out through my contact form or email me directly at info@lindsaybuteratherapy.com to schedule a brief consultation. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping for in therapy and decide together if we’re a good fit.
